inSuit named a Niche Player in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Digital Accessibility

QUICK SUMMARY

inSuit is the only Spanish vendor in the first Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Digital Accessibility. The report evaluates vendors from around the world, and inSuit is positioned in the Niche Players category. We specialise in the European market and its regulatory framework: the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and the EN 301 549 standard.

On 5 October 2026, Gartner® published its first Magic Quadrant™ for Digital Accessibility, evaluating vendors from around the world. inSuit has been named a Niche Player and is the only Spanish vendor included in the report.

For our team, this recognition reflects more than 12 years of work and the development of inSuit 360™, our digital accessibility platform built around compliance with the European framework.

What is the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Digital Accessibility?

The Magic Quadrant™ is Gartner’s methodology for evaluating vendors in a specific technology market. It positions each vendor along two axes: Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision.

With this first edition, digital accessibility now has a Magic Quadrant™ of its own. The vendors evaluated fall into four categories: Leaders, Challengers, Visionaries and Niche Players.

The Niche Players category typically groups vendors with a specialised focus, whether on a particular capability, a segment or a specific regulatory environment. In our case, that focus is the European market and its regulatory framework, across the entire lifecycle of each digital asset.

Why this recognition matters for digital accessibility in Europe

In our view, the value of this recognition goes beyond inSuit. We see it as good news for the whole sector, for three reasons:

Timing matters, too. Since 28 June 2025, the European Accessibility Act has applied to a large share of digital products and services in every Member State. Organisations are no longer asking whether they must comply, but how to demonstrate digital accessibility compliance on an ongoing basis.

In practice, that means working with a vendor that understands the specifics of each Member State and delivers documentation in the format regulators expect, such as the accessibility statement or the compliance information required under the EAA.

It is worth remembering that a Magic Quadrant™ is not a buying recommendation. Each organisation should assess its vendors against its own needs, its sector and the digital assets it manages.

The regulatory framework: European Accessibility Act, Web Accessibility Directive and EN 301 549

Across the European Union, digital accessibility rests on legislation that sets the obligations and on a technical standard that defines how they are measured. To go deeper, our article on accessibility regulations for private companies in the EU covers deadlines and who is affected in detail. These are the key pieces:

In addition, WCAG 2.2, published by the W3C in October 2023, is now the benchmark for good practice and the scope of the inSuit AA certification.

Meeting this framework takes more than running an automated scanner. Authorities ask for accessibility statements, compliance information and evidence that responds to specific requirements of EN 301 549.

That is why a useful accessibility audit does not stop at listing errors. It must translate each finding into a regulatory requirement, a priority and a way to fix it.

Monitoring, auditing and remediation: our 360 approach

360 digital accessibility covers the entire lifecycle of a digital asset: development, auditing, continuous improvement and certification. We deliver it through experts supported by our own technology, across websites, apps and documents.

A website changes every week. Without constant accessibility monitoring, an audit that is accurate today can be out of date within a few months. That is why we combine four lines of work:

Inspections are carried out by the technical audit unit of Everycode S.L., an ENAC-accredited body (No. 593/EI923) under ISO/IEC 17020, for inspections in accordance with EN 301 549, with legal validity in the EU and over 100 countries.

Behind all this is a team holding IAAP certifications and experience with W3C standards, which has already remediated more than 1,000,000 accessibility issues. Artificial intelligence helps us work faster, but the final conformance judgement is always human.

What this means for your digital accessibility strategy

For organisations operating in Europe, digital accessibility is an ongoing obligation that must be demonstrable in any audit or inspection. And the risk is real: the EAA requires every Member State to set effective, proportionate and dissuasive penalties. Each country defines its own fines, authorities can require corrective measures and, in the most serious cases, non-compliant products can be withdrawn from the market. National enforcement bodies are now progressively stepping up their controls.

Our goal remains the same: to make your organisation’s regulatory compliance solid, continuous and demonstrable, and your digital environment accessible to everyone. This recognition is possible thanks to our team and to the trust of our customers and partners.
