Customising page reading speed and volume

Our work on improving inSuit’s various interfaces continues!

Users can now select up to five reading speeds and independently set voice volume. This makes the reading of web pages even more convenient for users. On the keyboard, users simply press the “+” and “-” keys to adjust the volume, and “Ctrl +” and “Ctrl –” to adjust speed. These controls are also available via voice commands.

The new icon for the “inSuit Aloud” interface (see image) indicates the current reading volume and speed that has been activated.
As with all improvements, web pages that make use of this service will receive this new feature automatically, and will not require any additional adjustments or set-up.
